Return Policy

This policy governs return, exchange, refund, cancellation, and custom-order handling for Devilish Designs purchases.

Scope and acceptance

This Return Policy applies to purchases made through the Devilish Designs website, customer accounts, invoices, custom-work requests, and related checkout or payment flows. By placing an order, approving a custom project, submitting payment, or accepting delivery, the customer agrees to this policy.

This policy is intended to apply together with any product-specific terms, written invoice terms, financing terms, and the Devilish Designs Terms of Use. If a product page, invoice, or written project approval contains more restrictive return or cancellation terms, those terms control for that order.

Return authorization required

No item may be returned without prior written authorization from Devilish Designs. Items sent back without authorization may be refused, returned to sender, or held without refund until the customer provides the required order information.

A return authorization does not guarantee a refund. All returned items are subject to inspection after receipt. Devilish Designs may deny a return, reduce a refund, issue store credit, or return the item to the customer if the item is used, worn, altered, damaged, incomplete, missing packaging, or otherwise not in acceptable condition.

Standard merchandise

Standard, non-custom merchandise may be eligible for return if the return is requested within the posted return window, approved in writing, and received in unused, unworn, unaltered, complete, and resaleable condition.

Unless required by law or caused by a confirmed Devilish Designs error, original shipping charges, return shipping charges, rush fees, processing fees, handling fees, and other non-product charges are not refundable. The customer is responsible for safe return packaging and for loss or damage during return transit.

Refunds, when approved, are issued after inspection to the original payment method when practical. Devilish Designs may issue store credit instead of a refund when permitted by law, when the original payment path is unavailable, or when the circumstances reasonably support store credit.

Custom, customized, and made-to-order items

All custom, customized, altered, personalized, commissioned, made-to-order, special-order, and customer-specific items are final sale once production has formally started. These items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund except as expressly approved in writing by Devilish Designs or required by law.

A custom or made-to-order purchase may be cancelled for a full refund only before the order is marked as started in the applicable order or project tracker. Once an order is marked as started, labor time, scheduling, procurement, design work, and production capacity may be committed and are not fully recoverable.

If an order has reached a materials-ordered stage but production has not materially progressed, Devilish Designs may, in its sole discretion, approve a partial refund after deducting nonrecoverable material costs, committed labor, payment fees, shipping charges, restocking costs, and any other costs already incurred for that order.

Deposits, down payments, progress payments, design fees, rush fees, measurement fees, consultation fees, and labor charges are non-refundable once the corresponding work, reservation, procurement, or production step has started, unless Devilish Designs agrees otherwise in writing.

Payment, deposits, and financing

Custom work, made-to-order work, and special-order work may require full payment before production or an approved financing arrangement. When in-house financing is offered, the required down payment must at minimum cover material costs and any other nonrecoverable order costs before work begins.

Payment plans, financing approvals, charge authorizations, and third-party financing are subject to the terms of the applicable payment or financing provider. A refund approval by Devilish Designs does not cancel, modify, or waive any separate obligation owed to a payment processor, financing provider, or lender unless that provider confirms the change.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Claims for damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items must be submitted promptly after delivery. The customer must provide the order number, item name, delivery details, clear photographs of the product and packaging, and any other information reasonably requested by Devilish Designs.

Devilish Designs may offer repair, replacement, exchange, store credit, partial refund, or refund depending on the claim, product type, available inventory, proof submitted, and applicable law. Devilish Designs may deny a claim if the issue is caused by misuse, wear, alteration, improper care, inaccurate customer measurements, customer-supplied specifications, or damage occurring after delivery.

Final sale and excluded items

Certain items may be final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Final sale items may include custom items, altered items, personalized items, clearance items, discounted closeout items, hygiene-sensitive items, event-used items, digital items, patterns, downloadable content, gift cards, and any item marked final sale before purchase.

Devilish Designs may refuse any return or cancellation request that appears abusive, fraudulent, excessive, inconsistent with this policy, or inconsistent with the condition or history of the order.

How to request review

To request a return, exchange, refund, cancellation, or damage review, the customer must use the available customer account tools or contact Devilish Designs support with the order number, customer name, item name, request reason, and supporting photographs when applicable.

Devilish Designs will review the order record, product type, payment status, fulfillment status, project status, and submitted evidence before determining whether any remedy is available. No remedy is approved unless confirmed in writing by Devilish Designs.

Policy changes

Devilish Designs may update this Return Policy at any time. The policy posted at the time of purchase generally applies to that order unless a later written agreement, applicable law, or required correction provides otherwise.
